Barrett Rouse

Barrett Rouse

Founder and President of Stoney Creek Foundation

Barrett is the founder and President of Stoney Creek Foundation, the supporting entity of Stoney Creek Ranch. Barrett had a vision of providing a Christian camp for youth and that vision has continually grown since the property was purchased in 2000. Much of his leisure time is spent at the camp and/or managing logistics. A Longhorn through and through, his other passions are his family - spending time with them hunting, fishing, golfing and youth sports. He is the proud dad to 2 boys and 2 girls and husband to Stoney Creek’s biggest cheerleader. Barrett’s “day job” is principal at Pin Oak Investment Advisors, a Houston-based wealth management firm.

Pam Gray

Pam Gray

Executive Director

Pam joined Stoney Creek Ranch in 2006 as our Camp Coordinator. Pam has an extensive background in marketing and sales and wears many hats at SCR. She is most often your first line of contact when booking retreats, coordinating summer camp or needing information. She received her BBA from Texas A&M and enjoys Aggie football, tennis and golf! Most importantly she has a passion for inner-city youth and all that SCR’s ministry has to offer. Her other extracurricular activities revolve around her son, Tyler!

Brynne Dyrhood

Brynne Dyrhood

Director of Development

Brynne joined Stoney Creek Ranch in September of 2014 as the Director of Development. Brynne holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies—Human Relations from The University of Texas at Austin. After moving from Austin to Houston with her husband, Andrew, Brynne spent her time coordinating the volunteer program at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center. It was there that Brynne realized her heart for being involved with a ministry that partners with Houston youth. Brynne spent many years as a camper and staff member at Camp Ozark and first handedly witnessed how the gospel can impact and change lives, including her own, forever. In her spare time, Brynne enjoys cheering on any Houston sports team and the Texas Longhorns, spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, and traveling.

Chelsi Davis

Chelsi Davis

Director of Marketing

Chelsi joined Stoney Creek Ranch in March of 2017 as the Director of Marketing. After receiving a degree in Business Marketing from Texas Christian University, Chelsi moved to Dallas to pursue a career in Marketing. After two years, Chelsi made the decision to return to Houston to be closer to family and friends and has been here ever since. Chelsi is thrilled to have found an organization that allows her to utilize her experience in serving a mission she feels passionately about - showing children the love of God through camp. A Camp Ozark veteran, Chelsi developed her understanding of the Gospel during her time as a camper, and is excited to play a role in that experience for the children that attend Stoney Creek Ranch. In her free time, Chelsi enjoys spending time with her family and friends and is currently in the process of planning her wedding to her fiancé, Jack.

Hunter Smith

Hunter Smith

Camp Director

Hunter started working at Stoney Creek Ranch in August 2015 as a member of the weekend retreat staff, helping scrub dishes and build campfires. He fell in love with the ropes course and the beauty of the ranch during this time and was thrilled to work during the Stoney Creek Urban Initiative as the Ropes Director. Hunter is honored to serve as the new Camp Director at SCR to give back to the ministry he loves so much. He holds two degrees from Texas A&M University (Gig’ Em): a Bachelors in Political Science/Sociology and a Masters in International Affairs from the Bush School of Government and Public Service. Working at the Summer Urban Initiative helped Hunter realize his passion for service and for camping ministry. Hunter thinks it is the biggest blessing to witness the eternal impact of SCR’s ministry every day. Hunter is originally from Houston and the proud father of two basset hounds, his best friend Ranger and his princess Murphy.

Dwayne Pano

Dwayne Pano

Urban Initiative Director

Dwayne is joining the Stoney Creek Ranch team as the Urban Initiative Director. He served at Kids Across America for 12 years in many different roles. Most of his time there was spent recruiting staff for the summer time and building long-lasting programs that are still being used today. For the past three years, He’s spent time in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Dallas, Texas serving as a Youth Pastor in both places. Dwayne believes that his time spent at both places has better equipped him for the ministry he will do at Stoney Creek. He is married to Katarina Pano and they have two beautiful children, Jaden (2 years old) & Aubree (1-year-old). Dwayne truly has a heart for the urban community.

Dominic Brown

Dominic Brown

Ed Weddle

Ed Weddle

Ranch Facilities Mgr/ Director of Food Services

Ed came to Stoney Creek Ranch in June 2012 as a temporary cook for the first Urban Initiative Camp and never left. Through God’s grace and perfect timing, Ed “found what he was looking for”. Ed’s background in logistics and sales coupled with his passion for cooking fits perfectly with his role in the kitchen and facilities management. He is usually the first person you see on retreat weekends as your cook and Food Service Director. A proud graduate of Baylor University, you probably will have to endure at least one “Sic’ Em Bears” as he welcomes you to SCR. Ed’s other passion is his family. His boys, Harrison and Blake, can usually be found working the zip line or around the water sports as SCR lifeguards.

Lawrencia Nkadi

Lawrencia Nkadi

Urban Initiative Coordinator

Lawrencia started working at Stoney Creek Ranch in August 2013 as a Summer counselor. She has been with Stoney Creek ever since, working as a retreat staff member, Wrangler Shepherd, and Enrollment Coordinator. She strongly believes in the mission of Stoney Creek, and that is why she continues to return and gets further involved! Being part of the Summer Urban Initiative has helped her understand the true meaning of agape love. To love each and every individually unconditionally, and to serve whole-heartedly. Lawrencia currently attends University of St. Thomas where she is working on a Bachelors in Communications.
